PARKING SENSORS
Parking sensors are a crucial addition to any government fleet or view-obstructed vehicle that frequently requires reversing in confined spaces. These highly advanced proximity detectors utilize sensors installed in the front and/or rear bumpers to measure the distances to nearby objects.
These sensors calculate object distances using pulse emissions and instantly warn the driver with acoustic tones. As objects get closer, the warning tones get faster, with a continuous tone indicating a minimal distance. Additionally, VOXX's advanced parking sensor systems include a dashboard/visor mount display that seamlessly integrates into any vehicle's interior, providing visual aids such as LED or LCD readouts to indicate object distance.

Compared to other's standard systems the VOXX system includes a dashboard/visor mount display with a smaller overall footprint designed to seamlessly blend into a vehicle's interior.
Ultrasonic parking sensor systems typically require the use of harness extensions when being installed onto light duty trucks and vans. These extensions introduce multiple points of failure and signal interference. That all changes with VOXX's system, which includes a weather-proof 25' harness designed to connect the four bumper-mounted ultrasonic sensors to the control module in a single run.
The VOXX control module includes internal electronics redesign necessary to transmit interference-free signals from the bumper-mounted ultrasonic sensors along the 25' harness - an industry first.
